Hello, this is Enjoy Your Life. Today, I will be reviewing one of the most famous airlines in the Middle East—Emirates. I’ll cover the B777-300ER business class flight from ICN to MLE, along with its chauffeur service.
Flight: EK 0660
Aircraft type: Boeing 777-300
Flight duration: 13H 45M

Emirates Business Class Chuaffer Service
Unlike many other airlines, Emirates offers a chauffeur (pick-up) service starting from business class passengers. You can book the service using your reservation number on the Emirates website. However, there may be additional charges depending on the pick-up location. For example, if you request a pick-up in Gangnam, Seoul, an extra fee will apply.
Once you book the service, you will usually receive a confirmation call on the day of or the day before your flight. You’ll also be sent the vehicle details and the driver’s contact information by text message. Based on online reviews, I was expecting vehicles such as a BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E-Class, Genesis G80, or even an SUV from a premium brand. However, I was disappointed that the car provided was from a lower-end brand than expected.
I was also disappointed that I couldn’t choose the car I wanted. Since business and first class passengers generally have high expectations, offering a car below those expectations feels like a waste of money and could harm Emirates’ reputation. I don’t understand why they overlook this part of the service.
Emirates B777-300er ICN-MLE Business Class
Before diving into the full review, let’s start with a short video of Emirates Airlines’ B777-300ER business class.
When I used to travel abroad, I usually visited big cities. This time, however, I went to the Maldives to relax. While the Maldives is often considered a honeymoon destination, I went simply for a break.
If you take the Emirates Business Class, you will use Asiana Business Class lounge at Incheon International Airport.
In fact, if you’re looking for the world’s top luxury airlines for business or first class, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, and Etihad are usually the top choices. I personally agree with this. Among them, both Emirates and Etihad are based in the Middle East, and once you step on board, you can really feel the power of their oil wealth.
The amenity kits and toiletries are from Bulgari.
Normally, you receive a welcome drink when boarding, and I chose to have champagne.
The food tasted rather plain. From what I understand, the meals aren’t cooked fresh on board; they are prepared in advance, then reheated before serving. As a result, they don’t taste like something a famous chef made.
No matter how tired I am, I never skip a meal. It’s also a good way to compare which airline offers the better food.
This concludes my brief review of the ICN–MLE flight in Emirates Business Class.
Summary: Since Emirates is one of the top luxury airlines in the Middle East, I had high expectations even before boarding. I looked forward to the chauffeur service for business class passengers, but I was disappointed right away because the vehicle provided was from a lower-end brand than I expected. On board, I was satisfied with the overall luxury, though the food was just okay. Overall, the experience was decent, perhaps tempered by my high expectations. Personally, I would give it 4 out of 5.
Have a great day
