Incheon International Airport Korean Air Prestige Lounge Renewal from August 18th 2025 Monday
Starting Monday, August 18, 2025, the Korean Air Lounge at Incheon International Airport will be completely renewed. Until then, there are two lounges: one on the east side near Gate 253 and another on the west side near Gate 249. Next time, I will show you the renewed lounge’s location and what it looks like.
ICN-DFW
Flight B787-9 does not have a first-class cabin.
Pre-Order for In-Flight Meals
You can pre-order in-flight meals in advance through the Korean Air website or mobile app.
Seat
The seat color has changed from the previous blue to black. It also seems that Korean Air is updating its logo and making various other changes.
Amenities
The pouch has been replaced with a Graff product. However, the contents were a bit simple, which was somewhat disappointing.
Prestige Class In-Flight Fine Dining
The menu color has also changed from the old sky blue to dark blue. I pre-ordered Pan Seared Halibut with Bisque Sauce as my in-flight meal and will take a look at the video of what was served.
Amuse-bouche is a soup made with smoked crabmeat in an asparagus veloute sauce. For my first meal, I paired it with white wines: Australian Yarra Valley Chardonnay (Levantine Hill, Coldstream) and German Rheinhessen Riesling (Mol Sheim Riesling).
The appetizer was a grilled octopus salad.
The soup was tomato and shrimp soup.
Finally, my main dish, pan-seared halibut with bisque sauce, arrived.
Here is cheese.
For dessert wine, I had a red Porto wine: Sandeman Founders’ Reserve from Portugal’s Douro region.
I finished my meal with dessert and ice cream. I was very satisfied with my first course.
For a snack, I had cookies, Korean ramen, and beef jerky. I personally enjoyed the rice cake and small dumplings in the ramen, but it was too spicy for me.
I was very satisfied with the second meal as well. I’m not entirely sure, but since Korean Air updated their logo and services, it seems to me that their in-flight meals have improved and become more delicious.
Summary: I always enjoy and am satisfied with Korean Air’s service, so I often choose them whenever I fly. Personally, I would rate them 4 out of 5, as the seat feels a bit small for me.
Have a great day.
