Sono Hotels & Resorts was previously known as Daemyung Resort, and the brand name officially changed in late 2019.

Sol Beach Samcheok is located on the east coast of Korea, in Samcheok, Gangwon Province, and is well known for its Mediterranean-inspired design.

✔️ Building Layout

• The resort is divided into A–B buildings and C–D buildings

• I stayed in the C–D building

The entrance of the C–D building felt particularly exotic, as the resort design is inspired by the architecture of Santorini, Greece, creating a unique overseas atmosphere despite being in Korea.

The room layout is ideal for families or groups, offering ample space and privacy for multiple guests.

The room offered a scenic view with:

• Left: The East Sea

• Center: Resort walking path

• Right: Exterior guest buildings

The scenery felt very different between day and night, providing two distinct experiences.

One minor downside was that the balcony felt slightly narrow, though it still allowed for enjoying the ocean breeze.

Since the visit was during the off-season, the walking paths were quiet, making the overall atmosphere calm and relaxing.
