For travelers arriving from Incheon to Amsterdam via Korean Air, you will most likely arrive in the evening. In that case, The Florian is one of the convenient options near the airport.

🏨 Exterior & First Impressions

From the outside, The Florian Amsterdam Airport looks more like a motel-style building, which may surprise some guests.
However, once inside, the interior is decorated in a young, modern, and trendy style, appealing especially to younger travelers.

As shown on the map, the hotel is conveniently close to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, making it a practical choice for transit travelers or short stays.

  • Surrounding area: Relatively quiet with limited amenities, but sufficient for an overnight stay

🛏 Room Review — Twin Room

The hotel offers three main room types: Double, Twin, and Triple.
I stayed in the Twin Room, and here are my impressions:




✔ Room Size

  • The room felt slightly small, especially if traveling with large suitcases.

  • Space can feel tight when opening two suitcases at the same time.

✔ Bathroom Layout

One of the most unique aspects was that the washbasin was placed inside the bedroom, not inside the bathroom.

  • 🚿 Shower and toilet were separated behind individual doors

  • ❌ No bathtub

  • ✔ Shower pressure was decent

  • ✔ Overall cleanliness was acceptable

✔ Room Condition

The room interior itself was simple and functional, but nothing particularly impressive for a 4-star hotel.

💪 Fitness Center

  • Located near the basement parking area

  • The fitness room is fairly small

  • Contains basic equipment suitable for light workouts

  • Drinking water is available through a water dispenser

This gym is best for travelers who just want a quick stretch rather than a full training session.

🔎 Overall Rating — ★★☆☆☆ (2 out of 5)

The Florian Amsterdam Airport is a practical hotel for travelers who need a place to sleep close to the airport.


However, there were several factors that made the stay feel average:
