Hello, Enjoy Your Life is here. In this review, I’ll share my experience flying Korean Air’s Boeing 787-10 Prestige Class on a round trip between Incheon (ICN) and Amsterdam (AMS).
Flight: KE925 & KE926
Aircraft Type: B787-10
Flight Duration: About 14H
Seat: Business Class - Prestige Suite 2.0
Korean Air B787-10 ICN<->AMS Business Classs (Prestige Suite 2.0)
Let's watch a short video before we get started.
Business class passengers departing from Incheon have the option to pre-book their in-flight meals, allowing access to an expanded and more curated selection compared to the standard onboard menu.
ICN->AMS
The seat size is generally adequate, though it may feel a bit tight for larger passengers.
ICN->AMS In-Flight Meal
The appetizer was followed by dill salmon accompanied by a potato salad. The rich, smoky depth of the salmon harmonized beautifully with the light, creamy texture of the potatoes, creating a refined and well-balanced dish.
For the main course, I had grilled bean curd and vegetable packs, pre-ordered in advance. Despite its traditional Korean composition, the dish was executed with remarkable precision and balance, so much so that it was easy to forget we were enjoying an in-flight meal.
For dessert, a selection of cheese, cake, macarons, ice cream, and tea provided a rich yet relaxed conclusion to the meal.
The mid-flight snacks were equally impressive. Fresh and well-prepared, the selection of cookies, pizza, mixed nuts, and popcorn was thoughtfully balanced, leaving me thoroughly satisfied.
The ramen was a bit spicier than I personally prefer, though it will likely appeal to passengers who enjoy a more robust, spicy flavor.
For dessert, a selection of fresh fruit was served, providing a clean and refreshing conclusion to the meal.
Overall, the quality of the in-flight dining experience felt noticeably elevated, with the exception of the ramen, which was a touch spicier than I prefer. I understand that Korean Air has recently collaborated with renowned chefs to enhance their in-flight menu, and the improvement was evident in both presentation and flavor. The meticulous attention to detail made the meal genuinely enjoyable and left me looking forward to my next journey.
AMS->ICN In-Flight Meal
For the second meal, I chose the bacon frittata, accompanied by fresh fruit for dessert, which provided a light and refreshing conclusion to the final meal on board. On the outbound flight from Incheon to Amsterdam, the ramen proved a bit spicier than I preferred, so I opted not to order it on the return journey.
Despite that, the overall dining experience throughout the round trip was excellent. Coupled with Korean Air’s characteristically friendly and attentive service, it left a strong impression and naturally made me look forward to flying with them again on my next trip.
Summary: Although I had flown on the B787-10 before, this round trip exceeded my expectations in every way. The in-flight meals, in particular, were remarkable both in flavor and presentation, and the attentive, meticulous service of the cabin crew left a lasting impression. Personally, I would not hesitate to give this experience a full 5 out of 5.
Have a great day.
